Vitalo journal

Clarity you can trace.

Our guides help readers understand everyday health measurements, food records, and habits. Here is how we present information and its limits.

Purpose and scope

Vitalo Journal provides general education. Articles offer practical examples and connect readers to useful tools. They do not establish a diagnosis, prescribe treatment, or replace care from a qualified professional.

Sources and worked examples

Articles link to supporting sources, including public health agencies, clinical guidance, and established food databases. We distinguish a calculation from the assumptions behind it. Invented numbers used to explain a method are identified as illustrative examples.

Authors and clinical review

Each guide identifies its author or editorial team. Contributor profiles describe the role and credentials provided for that contributor. A clinical reviewer is displayed only when a qualified person has actually reviewed the article; general editorial attribution does not imply medical review.

AI assistance and imagery

AI can assist with drafting or editorial imagery. Factual claims require checks against the cited sources. Generated images are labeled and serve as illustrations; they are not evidence, medical diagrams, or photographs of a real patient or result.

Updates and corrections

Articles retain their original publication date. An update date reflects a substantive content change. Sources and recommendations should be reassessed when guidance changes. If you notice a factual error, contact support@vitalo.app with the article link and the issue.

Product links and reader choices

Guides may link to Vitalo calculators, recipes, or the app download center when they provide a relevant next step. Access to the public journal does not require an account or app installation.
